Racing is a Hoover family tradition. It all began in the 1950’s in
Pennsylvania at Williams Grove Speedway, where Ken’s
dad, Henry “Pap” Hoover, began building race cars.
Ken and his brothers helped him and sometimes got to
drive them.
In 2003 Ken and Linda Hoover established their own racing business in
Rancho Cordova, CA with a single car driven jointly
by grandson Joey Hoover and friend April Halliday
Sullivan. Since then the team has grown to three
race cars in 2009. Drivers this year are grandsons
Joey, Richie Hoover and Craig Holsted
Our company goal is to establish Hoover Racing as a force to be reckoned
with for the 2011 season!
We have updated our cars last
year. Richie and Craig's engine have been
updated and both should have more power this new
year. Since Richie's car had a hard wreck last
Sept. 25th at Placerville he will be driving the
Black car that Joey drove last year.
We’re grateful to our sponsors who make it possible for us to compete in
the BCRA Midget Lite division. To learn more about

encourage you to use their services.
